Elves Special Needs Society Golf Tournament

Alberta Winter Games
February 9 – 12, 2012 in Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and Parkland County
Celebrating youth in sport and culture, the Alberta Winter games plays host to over 2,800 athletes, coaches, officials and performers participating in a variety of sporting activities.

Centre for Family Literacy Golf Tournament

The Centre for Family Literacy’s mission is to build, develop, and improve literacy with families and communities. This tournament helped to raise over $23,000 for the Centre’s Classroom on Wheels (C.O.W.) Bus program.

Canadian Ismaili Games

The Canadian Ismaili Games takes place every three years and brings together over 200 athletes from across the country to promote excellence in sport, sportsmanship, team work and a commitment to healthy lifestyle.

World Partnership Golf Tournament
July 18, 2011 at Red Tail Landing Golf Club in Edmonton
Launched in 2000 by Aga Khan Foundation Canada, this year’s World Partnership Golf Tournament raised over $1.5 million across Canada to raise funds and awareness for projects that assist the poor and disadvantaged in Asia and Africa.

Grant MacEwan University Jaffer Somji Memorial Scholarship
Active since April 2003
The overall purpose of this scholarship is to encourage entrepreneurship of students in the Bachelor of Applied International Business and Supply Chain Management Program. Two scholarships are awarded yearly.
